We’re delighted to be inviting you all to join our second Queer Board Gayming Weekend!
Taking place this year on Easter Weekend from Friday 18th to Monday 21st April 2025, we’ll be hitting the road and squirrelling ourselves away to play board games and have a whole bunch of gayming fun.
We’ve found an amazing venue tucked away in the north of the country that will accommodate up to 40 of you beautiful people, with a variety of spaces for playing games (of course), hanging out and doing some sporty activities. It’s also located in the countryside to give us time to explore in nature (weather permitting).

All the costs for the weekend are currently estimates. It’s unlikely things will change at this point, but we’ll keep this information updated as things become clearer and also notify anyone who has already purchased tickets for the weekend as soon as possible.
Highlights

Coach!
This is not yet confirmed, but we’re looking into having coach transport from Amsterdam to the Venue and back again to bring us and all our stuff along for the journey. It’s expected to pick up from the Blok Noord location in NDSM on Friday afternoon and return us to the same location on Monday afternoon. This will be discussed before final plans are made.
Extra Alcohol?
We will be getting a bunch of soft drinks and light alcohol as part of the general food budget, but that’s not likely to cover all the alcohol many of us would like to consume over the weekend (especially anything that isn’t beer or wine). This addition gives us a chance to add a variety of drinks to the selection available and hopefully ensure we don’t run out within 15 minutes. We’ll be reaching out to all these folks closer to the time to ensure we get the things people want to drink.
Who can join?
This weekend is intended first and foremost for our Board Gayming in Amsterdam community. Existing members will have first priority on spaces.
We will soon open up tickets for friends of members and people in the wider LGBTQIA+ community (including allies) to join.
How do I sign up?
You can sign up for the weekend to grab one of the limited spaces and either pay a €85 deposit that will reserve your space or making the full payment of the accommodation and food costs.
Selecting one of the optional extras is non-binding, but will help us to determine interest and make the right decision.
It’s expected that in early March we will be finalising all plans, declaring the full costs and requesting the final payment. Until then, you’ll be able to cancel and get a refund. After March, the deposits and any further payments are non-refundable, but can be transferred to someone else (we’ll be maintaining a waiting list if necessary).
